Creatine kinase‐MM (rCK-MM)
Creatine Kinase is an enzyme which is expressed by various tissues and cell types and within the cells; the "cytosolic" CK enzyme consist of two subunits, which can be either B (brain type) or M (muscle type). These subunits can further be classified as different isozymes: CK-MM, CK-BB and CK-MB. High CK in the blood may be an indication of damage to CK-rich tissue, such as in rhabdomyolysis, myocardial infarction, myositis and myocarditis
