Dr. Debendra Sahoo

Dr. Debendra K. Sahoo is an experienced chief scientist with experience in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology. competent in Spectroscopy, Biological Engineering, Mammalian Cell Culture, Protein Chemistry, and Verification and Validation (V&V). Strong engineer with a PDF from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, with a specialisation on biochemical engineering and downstream processing. He has more than 50 publications and serves on the editorial boards of numerous national and international journals. Member of numerous CSIR, DBT, BIRAC, ICMR, and other scientific and technical committees. Recipient of honours and fellowships, including the 2018 CSIR Technology Award, the 1995–1996 DBT Overseas Long-term Associateship, and the 2019–2020 Lupin Visiting Fellowship for Bioprocess Technology Endowment at ICT, Mumbai
