Shri. Dinesh Kumar Jain

Shri. Dinesh Kumar Jain, Ex-Member of Lokpal in India, has a distinguished career spanning over four decades. Commencing his journey as a member of the Indian Administrative Service in1983, he has held pivotal roles with the Government of India, the Government of Maharashtra State, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation. In his capacity as the 39th Chief Secretary of the Maharashtra Government, Shri. Jain adeptly managed coordination among various State Government Departments, offered strategic counsel to the Cabinet on policy matters, and implemented Cabinet decisions, particularly addressing escalating debts. His multifaceted expertise is evident in key roles within Ministries of the Central Government, focusing on Agriculture, Rural Development (with a special emphasis on Wage Employment generation), and fortifying the Decent ralised Governance system in India. While serving as the National Program Director at the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, Shri. Jain conducted training programs, notably in the automotive SME sector, concentrating on enhancing competitiveness through advancements in manufacturing system design.
